Underground Kite Sports is dedicated to making Montana one of the most talked about kiting locations in the world. Underground Kite Sports is owned by P.A.S.A. certified instructor Cole "King" Russell.

Currently we have three assistant instructors and six "Team Underground" riders. All of our staff are experienced riders and can offer you top notch advise and instruction. We believe strongly in taking care of our customers and our environment. After all if it wasn't for our incredible lands, lakes, rivers, and oceans where would we go to enjoy our amazing sport. We are proud to announce that our store and shop located in Philipsburg, MT is going strong. Underground Kite Sports is Montana's only kiteboarding company with a full service store and shop for your convenience. Within minutes from our store are numerous riding locations of all kinds. Within an hour or less are some of Montana's most famous snowkiting areas such as Mt. Haggin, Black Pine, and Georgetown Lake. While here you can hit anyone of the several lakes in the area for some thrilling waterkiting or snowkiting. For those who like to buggy and landboard we have plenty of areas for you too. For the backcountry snowkiter you will find a wide variety of endless hours of terrain for you to test your skills on. When you're harnessed onto a kite, you can cruise along with almost anything on your feet, from powder skis to a snowboard, wakeboard to landboard, or a buggy to a sled. Why pay for a lift ticket when you can get out and ride where you want for free. All you need is a kite and a board / skis.
